Calling all book lovers! 

Looking forward to seeing you all to discuss some favourite books!  Karen W leads our Book Club.  If you have any questions, please register for one date and Karen will get back to you.

It is all very relaxed and chatty and everyone is most welcome. It doesn’t matter if you’re a voracious reader or even if you’re picking up a book for the first time in ages.  

We meet in the Clubhouse, ground floor, at 13:30 for a 14:00 start.   

Summer Classic: The Go_between by LP Hartley (Anne E)

Book suggestions for our meetings are very welcome.  As a group we seem to enjoy a varied selection of books – we are open-minded, willing to explore new authors, genres and styles, whilst also enjoying re-visiting or discovering classics (widely defined), and other established authors. Non-English language books, when well translated, have also broadened our horizons, as have authors from around the world or stories set in other countries. And we do not expect all choices to be loved or even liked by all – indeed part of the pleasure of our book club is the variety of opinions books choices engender. So please don’t be shy.
